Pricing

ayoai is open to builders, and this page describes how you're charged rather than locking in final rates. We're setting exact pricing together with our first builders — when you join, you'll see your rates in your dashboard before anything is ever billed.

What you pay for

Your bill is built from the three things that actually take compute to run — each its own line, so you can see exactly where every cent went:

• Environment runtime — $2.00 per environment-hour. The server your world runs on, metered while it's up. One environment hosts as many agents as you put in it.
• Agent runtime — $1.00 per agent-hour. The time your agents spend reasoning on ayoai's substrate. Your engine's own work (rendering, physics, animation, movement) is never metered. That stays on your side.
• Reasoning tokens — included. The language-model work behind goals, planning, and memory comes with a generous allowance scaled to the hours you actually run; you're billed only beyond it, and most workloads never get near it. Lightweight behavior modules that don't call a model don't incur token charges.

So a standard environment running one agent costs $3.00 per hour, all-in — and density works in your favor: a second agent in the same environment adds only the $1.00 agent line, not another environment.

Today, while per-agent metering rolls out, every environment bills as a single $3.00/hour bundle regardless of agent count — if you run multiple agents per environment right now, the extra agents are on us.

No per-seat fees, and no markup on your own engine's compute.

Starter credits & balance

Every new account gets $10 in starter credits — applied automatically on your first API call — so you can build and test before you spend anything. Your balance is always visible, and ayoai checks it before launching a session — so a long run never surprises you with a bill. Need more to keep building? Reach out and we'll top you up.

Plans

As plans arrive they will stay simple and usage-based: a modest monthly base that includes a generous allowance of runtime and tokens, plus pay-as-you-go for anything beyond it. Our first builders help us set those allowances — tell us what you need to help shape them.
